|We asked kids to us tell the story of the Good Samaritan in their own words.|
In this story, a Jewish man was traveling on a dangerous road through the hills when thieves attacked him. They hurt him, took his clothes, and left him by the side of the road to die. Two men passed by him on the road, but they didn’t do anything to help.
Then a Samaritan man came by. The Samaritans and the Jews didn’t get along, but that didn’t stop the Good Samaritan from helping the man. The Samaritan washed the man’s wounds, put him on his mule, and took him to an inn. He paid the innkeeper money to care for the wounded man.
How can you be like the Good Samaritan and help someone today?
(Luke 10: 25-37)
