The Triumphal Entry

In this episode, we experience the triumphal and prophesied entry of Jesus Christ into the holy city of Jerusalem.  We hear portrayed the tender anointing of Jesus’ feet by Mary and envision Jesus’ cleansing of the moneychangers from the temple. In preparation for the time of atonement, Jesus rebukes the scribes and Pharisees who continue their relentless efforts to tempt Him, trick Him, and take Him in His words. Finally, from the quiet hillside of the Mount of Olives, Jesus teaches His disciples of the signs of His Second Coming and prophecies regarding the last days.

I Am the Good Shepherd

In this episode, “I Am the Good Shepherd,” we hear portrayed the healing of the blind man at the Pool of Siloam and the miracle of the raising of Lazarus from the dead and experience, again, the constant resistance from the scribes and Pharisees who oppose Jesus’ doctrines. Here Jesus teaches that He is the Good Shepherd and reminds us of our need to be willing to be shepherded. Ultimately, the Pharisees convene privately and plan the manner in which Jesus can be taken and put to death.
