When an old friend asks what you’ve been up to, how do you respond? You might say, “I’m just in school,” “I’m just working,” or even “I’m just a stay-at-home mom.”
In this episode, our host, Nicole, shares a simple experience that reminded her why she shouldn’t be using the word “just” in those situations.
“Be happy with the life God gives you,” Nicole says. “Go after your goals and dreams, no matter what they are. Don’t excuse yourself, don’t apologize. What you’re doing and who you are is good enough.
Nothing in life is ‘just.’ It’s all an important and learning experience.”
